Well- Northumberland Hemp might just be looking for you!  If you have over 25 acres of cleared land that you want to put to work, growing hemp might just be the solution.  Help us create jobs in rural Nova Scotia using underutilize farm land by growing hemp!

To grow hemp in Canada, one must apply for a license from Health Canada.  These licenses expire in the calendar year they are issued.  Therefore, it is recommended cultivators submit their application 5 to 6 months prior to the growing season (at the earliest, the November before the next growing season).  After this license has been approved, producers are only allowed to plant certified seeds with less that 0.3% THC content.  Northumberland Hemp has a team that is well versed in this process and is ready to help you!

Once the hemp has been grown, Northumberland Hemp will be happy to buy the raw product for processing!
